Ever wanted to learn to play the piano, but thought it was too difficult?
Learning to play the piano does not need to be hard or tedious. Believe it or not, it can actually be a fun and engaging activity! I will help you to reach your goals, whatever they may be, and will guide you every step of the way. Whether you have no experience playing, or have played for years and want to challenge yourself further, my lesson plans are created specifically for you, so that you can progress as quickly and easily as possible. Incorporated in my piano lessons are ear training, technique, velocity training, performance technique, rhythm, music theory, and more! AND, since lessons are in your own home, you will learn everything in a comfortable and familiar environment.
I teach students from 4 years old to 110, and many of my students have experienced great success from music lessons. Not only are they educational, but fun! And, since they are tailored specifically for you or your child, you can be taught in the way you want to be taught! I teach various methods, and will work with your own unique learning style to create a plan to help you achieve the quickest results possible. I travel to the areas surrounding Kent and Covington, WA for music lessons, but am available to travel further distances for a small additional charge. Please contact me for details.
While the main genre of music used to teach will be classical music (always a sound and sturdy foundation upon which to learn the basics), I can easily teach music from other genres, such as jazz, rock, pop, blues, etc.. if desired!
